Kitchen Tweak

We tackled the big things first when we moved in to our humble abode.  Like the purple and yellow room, or the sea of navy carpet.  Those were emergencies.  What’s left?  The last little projects that I love to finish up.  Our kitchen backsplash was one of those projects.  My Mom did her best sponge painting to get us through, but it was time for an upgrade.

Enter amazing 3-D fancy pants beadboard wallpaper.  Now don’t run off into the night at the sound of wallpaper.  This is AWESOME.  If you have ever had to cut beadboard to match a wall that was put up in 1928 you would feel my pain.  I bought a roll that covers 60 square feet for like $25.  Matt was scared.

Let’s see a little before and after, shall we?
