Thanksgiving Recipes

November 25th, 2009 · 1 Comment · What's Cooking Good Looking?

If you’re still trying to think of something to bring to Thanksgiving dinner-have no fear.  The easiest cranberry bread recipe ever.  My step mom, Amy, makes this every year and it’s always a hit.  I’m making it this year to bring to my Mom’s house since we won’t be with my Dad and Amy for Thanksgiving.  I’m also making her corn casserole dish.  So, even though we can’t be with them tomorrow, it will still feel like Thanksgiving at their house!

Cranberry Nut Bread

3/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
2 tablespoons shortening
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/2 cups Ocean Spray® Fresh or Frozen Cranberries, coarsely chopped
