Snow Day!

They’re not just for kids anymore. We’re currently snowed in, and the Today Show even made it over to check us out! So, what to do with 2 unexpected days off from work? Board games, cookies and drinking of course! My brother, sister, Matt and I have had an exciting 36 hours. We have made: gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies, oatmeal butterscotch and we are revving up the Kitchen Aid mixer for the spritz cookies. 2 board games and a bottle of champagne later, we officially have cabin fever.

oh my goodness – where do you live again? thats nuts!! we got absolutely slammed in wisconsin too – but not me particularly. i live about a block from the lake, so i got absolutely nothing but rain, while my friends only 5 miles to the west have over a foot! gotta love lake effect!

Wow now that is some snow!! Nothing compared to our little bit in Texas. So glad you made the best of it with cookies and champagne. Awesome!

That is funny – Addison looked just like Matt yesterday w/ his coat, ski pants and goggles on too!! he said he was warm though!
