We’re always on the lookout for inexpensive “art".” I saw Katie’s idea about creating a collage representative of their favorite places. I immediately wanted one for Des Moines. We love it here. We started our married life here and have so many memories so we’re pretty sentimental. I wouldn’t want to be around me on moving day. I may be hysterical.
I wanted to recreate the collage idea but without a lot of work (no surprise huh?). Enter Wordle. It’s an online program that lets you enter any text you want and it creates a fun collage. You have complete control of the colors, fonts, size, etc. I thought it came together pretty well!
-ahem, please ignore that I misspelled Des Moines on the file. oops.
The only negative about this site is that you can’t easily save it to your computer. We printed it right away, so it wasn’t a big deal. I think this would be a great gift for a birthday or shower gift!
