Pillow Talk

After adding the color green into our living room I was on the hunt for cute throw pillows. I didn’t really want to spend a ton of money and hadn’t found the perfect fabric to whip some up myself. While at Walmart on the hunt for DMD I found some really cute, affordable pillows. Now don’t go all rogue on me for shopping the home section of Walmart. I really think that they’ve stepped it up a notch with their Better Homes and Garden line. For $13 I couldn’t say no.

Overall I’m pretty impressed with the BHG line. This pillow was the only one that caught my eye in the store but I looked up a few more online that we might be adding to our collection.
I’m thinking about adding in Navy Blue or Yellow too. Thoughts? Suggestions? Maybe I should add in a pink pillow (mostly to horrify Matt)?
This is important stuff people! Help a gal out.

i have a confession…. i’ve made a few k-mart purchases…. mostly some curtains and such but seriously, kmart. jaclyn smith clollection is where it’s at. so don’t feel too guilty about wal-mart. it must be the iowa roots in you

I vote for some touches of navy. But not navy AND yellow. Even though I love the combination, blue and yellow as room colors always feel like a beach rental to me.
Love the start on adding some color!

Oh don’t fret. I’ve totally perused the shelves of k-mart. Much to Matt’s dismay, I actually made him make 2 trips in a week since they were out of stock of the baskets I needed.
