Armed with my $4.94 burlap and wire hanger I went to work.</font></p>
<p><a href="http://www.ourpovertywithaview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_1828.jpg"><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT"><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="IMG_1828" border="0" alt="IMG_1828" src="http://www.ourpovertywithaview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_1828_thumb.jpg" width="240" height="180" /></font></a><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT"> </font></p>
<p><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT">I cut the strips of burlap about 4 inches wide. I didn’t really measure, I just kind of winged it. I figured this wreath was going to look rustic, so why not? Warning-the burlap stringy things get everywhere!</font></p>
<p><a href="http://www.ourpovertywithaview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_1829.jpg"><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT"><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="IMG_1829" border="0" alt="IMG_1829" src="http://www.ourpovertywithaview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_1829_thumb.jpg" width="180" height="240" /></font></a><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT"> </font></p>
<p><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT">After cutting the strips I scrunched them together and weaved them on to the rounded out wire hanger. After a few tries I figured out scrunching first and then putting the burlap on the hanger worked best. That way all of your folds are about the same size. See picture below.</font></p>
<p><a href="http://www.ourpovertywithaview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_1830.jpg"><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT"><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="IMG_1830" border="0" alt="IMG_1830" src="http://www.ourpovertywithaview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_1830_thumb.jpg" width="240" height="180" /></font></a><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT"> </font></p>
<p><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT">Just keep filling up your wire hanger! I ended up using about 2 yards of burlap.</font></p>
<p><a href="http://www.ourpovertywithaview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_1831.jpg"><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT"><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="IMG_1831" border="0" alt="IMG_1831" src="http://www.ourpovertywithaview.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/IMG_1831_thumb.jpg" width="180" height="240" /></font></a><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT"> </font></p>
<p><font size="4" face="Tw Cen MT">Wah-lah! I’ll most likely trim down some of the crazy fly-aways the wreath is currently sporting. I just love how it turned out! I added some ribbon I had lying around to the bottom. I didn’t add a bow since I was trying for a rustic theme. Pretty cute if I do say so myself and for $4.94 you can’t beat that with a stick.</font></p>
